San Diego Day 2

We started the day with a gorgeous morning. We were booked for a three hour Kayak tour with Family Adventure Kayak. We met with Marie and discovered we were the only family going out this morning. We had an amazing time. Everyone got a paddle and we were off. We paddled from Shelter Island out towards Point Loma.

We paddled past the research vessel RP FLIP and past the Navy's training facilities for dolphins and sea lions. We saw several trainers working with the dolphins, it was really cool. We then continued on and saw tons of sea lions. We had sea lions all around us and swimming under our boat. We saw several baby sea lions and lots of birds. This is one of the coolest things we have ever done. We loved it.

After a little lunch, beach time! We played and played until everyone was exhausted. The kids slept until about 8.

San Diego Day 1

We are finally in California. The weather is gorgeous and we are off to Sea World. We saw the new Blue Horizens Dolphin show, the sea lion show and the Believe, the Shamu show. We also went through Shark Encounter and Expedition Arctic.

When we came back to our hotel, we went for a cruise on the Bahia Belle, a riverboat that took us through Mission Bay. It was lots of fun.

Las Vegas

We had a super cool time in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Excalibur. We swam in the pool. Two waterfalls and a slide, what fun! Then we stuffed ourselves at the buffet. We ate too much so we had to drive down to the Bellagio. The Conservatory was amazing. There was a gorgeous fall theme. We then watched 3 fountain shows and took in some crazy people watching. We saw 3 Elvis, some showgirls, a living statue and an Aztec warrior. Only in Vegas!
